iPad Pro repairs we handle

We replace iPad Pro screens (glass) and batteries. For any other problem, bring it in for a free diagnostic and we'll tell you what's wrong and what we can do before any work starts.

Cracked or shattered glass. Cracked iPad glass is one of the most common tablet repairs. A crack can spread and its edges can cut, so put clear tape over it and bring it in. Our guide cracked glass or bad display? explains the difference between broken glass and a failing display, and the safe checks you can do at home.

Touch not working, or ghost touches. On many iPads the touch layer, called the digitizer, is part of the glass. If the iPad Pro ignores your finger, has dead spots or taps on its own, the free diagnostic tells you whether a screen replacement fixes it. First remove the case and screen protector and clean the screen.

Battery drains fast or won't hold a charge. An iPad Pro that no longer lasts through the school day or the workday usually has a worn battery. iPad battery replacement is quoted in the shop after a free diagnostic. See signs your battery needs replacing. The advice there applies to tablets too.

Other problems: bring it in for a free diagnostic

Not charging. The cause can be the cable or the adapter, so try another cable and adapter first. If it still won't charge, bring it in for a free diagnostic with the charger you use. Phone not charging: port or battery? walks through the same checks.

Won't turn on. A dead battery, a charging problem and a damaged screen can look the same. Bring it in for a free diagnostic, which finds out which one it is before you spend anything.

Got wet. Turn it off, keep it off the charger, and follow what to do if your device gets wet. Then bring it in for a free diagnostic as soon as you can.

How an iPad Pro repair works

  1. Free diagnostic. We check the iPad Pro and tell you what's wrong.
  2. Quote before work. The iPad Pro isn't on our price list, so its repairs are quoted in the shop after the diagnostic. You get the price before any work starts. Screen prices for iPad 5 through iPad 11 are on our price list, tax included.
  3. Parts for your model. We keep iPad parts on hand when we can. When we don't have one, we order it for your exact model and tell you the timing up front.
  4. Repair and warranty. Repairs come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for the part we replaced. It doesn't cover new physical damage or water damage. If we can't fix it, there's no charge.

You can follow your repair on our status page.
