Motorola repairs we handle
Cracked screen. We repair cracked screens on Motorola phones. The screen is ordered for your exact model after a free diagnostic.
Screen black, flickering or showing lines. If the phone rings or vibrates but nothing shows, or the picture flickers or has lines, the display is often damaged. The free diagnostic confirms it before you pay for a screen. Our guide cracked glass or bad display? explains the difference and the safe checks you can do at home.
Ghost touch or dead spots. A phone that taps on its own, has dead spots or ignores your finger usually has a damaged screen. Rule out a dirty screen, the case and screen protector, and accessories first.
Battery draining fast or shutting off early. A Motorola that no longer lasts the day or shuts off early usually has a worn battery. It's quoted after a free diagnostic and ordered for your model. See signs your phone battery needs replacing and battery replacement in Killeen.
Swollen battery or lifting screen. A swelling battery can push the screen or back of the phone up. Stop charging it and bring it in.
Won't charge or a loose USB-C port. Charging problems can come from the cable, the charger, lint packed into the USB-C port or the port itself. Read phone not charging: port or battery?, then bring the phone and your charger in. See charging port repair.
Camera blurry, black or not focusing. We repair cameras on popular Android phones. Camera repairs are quoted after a free diagnostic.
Water damage. Turn the phone off, keep it off the charger, and follow what to do if your phone gets wet. Then bring it in as soon as you can. See water damage repair.
How a Motorola repair works
- Free diagnostic. We check the phone and tell you what's wrong.
- Quote before work. Motorola repairs are quoted in the shop after the diagnostic, and you get the price before any work starts. Starting prices for other common repairs are on our price list, tax included.
- Part ordered for your model. We don't keep a full Android inventory, so the part is ordered for your exact Motorola. Typical parts jobs take about 3 business days. If your phone is a less common model, the free diagnostic confirms whether parts are available.
- Repair and warranty. Repairs come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for the part we replaced. It doesn't cover new physical damage or water damage. If we can't fix it, there's no charge.
You can follow your repair on our status page.
Before you drop it off
Back up your Motorola through your Google account if it still works, and know your PIN or pattern. Our drop-off checklist explains why. Moving soon? Tell us your date when you drop off, and see the Fort Hood PCS device checklist.
We're open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm, and walk-ins are welcome. For other brands, see Samsung Galaxy repair and our Android repair page.
