What affects the price
The parts, not the labor. Labor is flat, so the total mostly depends on whether a part is needed and which one. A virus removal or an operating system reinstall may need no parts at all; a no-power fault might be the charger, the battery, the power supply or the board.
What the free diagnostic finds. We check the computer for free and tell you what's wrong and what it costs before any work starts. You decide from there.
Whether your files need recovering. Data recovery is quoted separately in the shop, because what can be recovered depends on the drive and the damage.
